This is found naturally in the essential oils of certain plants, and, being a potentially sensitizing substance for the skin, it is among the 26 fragrance allergens that must, by EU regulation, be indicated on product labels when their concentration exceeds 0.001% in leave-on products and 0.01% in rinse-off products.
